Health Services

Health services are provided at the University Health Centre, staffed by a doctor and a nurse.

In the event of any health issue:

  • During weekdays and working hours, the student/patient is transported to the University Health Centre via the student shuttle service.
  • If a hospital referral is required, the Student Housing Office is informed after the health team evaluates the patient, conducts necessary observation and procedures, and decides on the referral. The hospital transfer is then coordinated accordingly.
  • For illnesses occurring between 17:00–24:00 on weekdays and weekends, students are transferred to the hospital using the Student Housing shuttle service.
  • For illnesses occurring between 24:00–08:00 on weekdays and weekends, students are transferred to the hospital with the university vehicle.
  • In emergency situations (life-threatening cases), 112 should be called immediately to request an ambulance.

Emergency Medical Situations

  • Immediately inform the Student Housing Office, clearly describing the situation and the patient’s location.
  • Remain calm and do not panic.
  • Do not move the patient under any circumstances.
  • Do not give the patient anything to eat, drink, or smell.
  • Avoid any contact with blood.
  • Do not leave the patient alone until help arrives.
