Situations Requiring Disciplinary Action
- Lighting any type of candle (with or without a wick) inside the building
- Keeping or lighting fireworks, fuel, gas lamps, incense, or similar items inside the building
- Smoking tobacco or tobacco products in all indoor areas and areas prohibited by the administration
- Consuming alcohol or entering the Student Village under the influence of alcohol
- Possession of narcotic substances (legal action will also be taken)
- Hanging thick curtains at room entrances
- Cooking food in rooms
- Using electric stoves, sandwich makers, microwave ovens, blenders, or grills in rooms
- Having flammable materials on the ceiling, covering or blocking ceiling lights, or hanging any items from the ceiling
- Using multiple socket adapters (all devices and electrical appliances must be compatible with 110 volts, 60 Hz voltage and must be CE certified)
- Possession of handguns, firearms, or any unsafe weapons
- Using room heaters and halogen lamps
- Using water beds
- Damaging furniture and equipment located in common areas
- Carrying out painting, repair, lighting, or electrical modifications
- Keeping pets other than aquarium fish
- Leaving personal belongings in corridors or stairwells
- Misuse, relocation, or theft of Student Village equipment, tools, or materials
- Using bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, balls, or similar sports equipment inside the building
- Engaging in commercial or income-generating activities
- Playing games for gambling purposes
- Leaving room doors open
The Student Village Management Office authorities are entitled to impose disciplinary sanctions in cases of violation of the behavioral rules stated above. In situations not listed here, the provisions of the Student Housing Regulations shall apply.
